DI has introduced a new three tiered ‘Trailblazers’ competition at Regional shows for riders up to the age of 21years old.
The upper two levels will be able to qualify to compete in their own ‘Trailblazers’ class at Winters and Nationals Finals.
This will be confined to Category 1 riders and is to cater for those new to dressage or not yet part of the High Performance Cat 2 group.
These classes are open to all Members & Unregistered competitors who are the correct age as of 1 Jan, standard entry fees apply.
Score sheets will not be made available until the relevant Short arena Prelim & Novice tests have completed, score’s will be posted as soon as available same as other classes.
- to encourage participation in our sport by young people
- to provide a structured training and competition pathway for grassroots young riders
- to provide age related Regional and National Competitions giving young riders a chance to experience National level competition on a fairer playing ground than competing with seasoned Category 1 Adult riders
- to identify potential future stars
- to replace current Under 25’s class at Nationals
