DI Northern Region Members triumphant in their England trip.

Great to hear of what sounds like a very successfully trip to England from our Northern Region members Michael BoydVicky CampbellKaren McKeownJoan Adrain & Carolyn Mellor:

Michael Boyd:
Maximum Jay done me proud in England! Such a big step up for both myself and Max competing in our first advanced test and our first Premier League. In the ribbons in most competitions that we competed in including a first place in our section at Hartpury Premier League! A massive learning curve and a fantastic experience for us both! Thank you to everyone who made it possible and that have helped me along the way! Onwards and upwards

Vicky Campbell:
So, we’re home after 8 amazing days overseas with both Otti and Bali! We learned so much from Pippa and Pammy Hutton and we’re motivated now to put everything into action! We won the Medium on another great score of 70% and placed in the Novice on my young horse Otti. Thanks again to everyone who helped along the way, mum and dad for the slightly hectic sat nav trips and no doubt we’ll be back soon enough.

Karen McKeown:
Having a good time in England. First competition and home with a win in the Elementary. We also competed in our first medium and got a 4th. Really pleased with Vinnie.

Joan Adrain:
Had a fabulous trip & so pleased that VSH Florenciano came 2nd in a PSG with an International qualifying score of 66%, and going one better winning the Inter 1 on another International qualifying score of 66%. Just cannot thank everyone so much for all their support.

Carolyn Mellor:
VSH Gouverneur M had only competed once at PSG before traveling to England. He excelled himself in England by winning 3 PSG tests with scores ranging from 66% to 71%. He also won 2 advanced classes. At Hartpury Premier League he competed in the 7yr old – 9yr old PSG, he was the only 7-year-old in the class and finished on a score of 65% with some costly mistakes but some great comments from the International judges. He has certainly gained in confidence at this level and will now train on for Inter 1 this winter.
